Kindle Junkie claims,
get real. Does this sound anything like an audiobook to you? Its not bad for what it is, but its not going to take the place of audiobooks.
I think this statement epitomizes most everyone’s beef with text to speech software. It’s just not human enough. Instinctively like a baby that perks at the sound of their mother’s voice, we respond positively to the dynamics of human voice that what for a computer interface still seems so far out of reach.
